CO+I, responsible for delivering over 200 Microsoft web portals, Live and Online Services around the world including infrastructure, security and compliance, operations, globalization, and manageability.

Responsibilities:

  • Resultsoriented individual to help build and deliver the network that powers the world's largest online services.
  • Lead project initiatives for all aspects of cloud infrastructure network in the Asia Pacific including colocation and network.
  • Own and drive commercial and contractual negotiations with vendors.
  • Identify cost saving opportunities throughout the network portfolio on new, existing and augment projects.
  • Support our colocation efforts within the region to ensure resiliency, diversity, and quality uptime of our network services portfolio.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to identify and define strategic initiatives to meet growth and expansion requirements.
  • Region and market topology expertise/SME to determine specific routes and deals that meet Microsoft network requirements.
  • Build long term strategic relationships with key vendors and industry experts.
  • Communicate progress internally and collaborate with partner organizations.
  • Collaborate with engineers in technical discussions.
  • Analyse complex problems, determine best course of action and drive permanent resolution.
  • Influence without authority and manage efforts through relationships.
  • Inspire leadership and trust across teams and organizations.
  • Promote a collaborative environment and bring a positive attitude to difficult situations.

Qualifications:

Required Qualifications
7+ years' experience in strategic negotiations and/or business development obtaining services from high-technology providers in data center and Internet technologies

o OR Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Optical Engineering, Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or related field AND 4+ years strategic negotiations and/or business development

  • OR Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Optical Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field AND 3+ years strategic negotiations and/or business development
  • OR Doctorate Degree in Electrical Engineering, Optical Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

Preferred Qualifications


11+ years' experience in network design, development, and automation experience in strategic negotiations and/or business development obtaining services from high-technology providers in data center and Internet technologies.


o OR Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Optical Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field AND 8+ years experience in strategic negotiations and/or business development obtaining services from high-technology providers in data center and Internet technologies.


  • OR Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Optical Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field AND 6+ years experience in strategic negotiations and/or business development obtaining services from hightechnology providers in data center and Internet technologies
o OR Doctorate Degree in Electrical Engineering, Optical Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field AND 3+ years experience in strategic negotiations and/or business development obtaining services from high-technology providers in data center and Internet technologies

  • Experience working with contractual/MSA (Master Service Agreement) negotiations.
