Operations & Administration Associate
Company Background
The company is MAS licensed Boutique Investment Management firm - lean set up, growing exponentially since its establishment in 2006.
The company is looking to expand business globally with professionals who are willing to share the firm's philosophy and goals, by providing open, fair and creative working environment.
Responsibilities:
- Fund Operations:
- Responsible for overall fund operations such as NAV reports review, reconciliation, trade matching, new client onboarding, audits and etc.
- Ensure portfolios compliance with investment guideline
- Assist with regulatory and operationsrelated reporting
- Liaise with service providers including brokers, prime brokers, fund administrators and etc.
- Ensure operations / procedures are in compliance with relevant rules and regulations
- Perform any ad hoc duties and projects that may arise from time to time
- Office Administration:
- Support overall office administrations issues from Human Resources to Corporate Accounting.
- Ensure up to date office administration procedures
- Liaise with service providers including corporate secretary, auditor, suppliers and etc.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree preferably in accounting, finance or business
- At least 2 years' experience in fund operations, fund accounting or middle office
- Proficient in MS Office, knowledge in VBA/Macro is preferred
- Desire to develop career in asset management
- Pay attention to details and strive for accuracy
- Able to multitask in a fast pace environment
- Clear and Concise in communication
- Strong desire to learn and succeed
