  • Manage project cost, schedules, and budgets.
  • Manage General Contractor and other directly contracted vendors and consultants.
  • Analyse, track and effectively manage critical milestone activities to avoid schedule slip.
  • Review construction proposals and related pricing/scopes.
  • Review, correct and assess workinplace, to approve capital expenditure spends.
  • Review and approve schedules.
  • Run and lead client and other required meetings.
  • Identify factors that influence construction costs and monitor and report on this data.
  • Knowledge and experience with all methods of construction procurement and long lead equipment.
  • Support engineering decisions relating to the project cost and budget while designbuild changes take place during construction.
  • Track and ensure equipment delivery meets the project schedule.
  • Record occurrence that might result in a claim acting on the client's behalf.
  • Advocate on the part of the client during disputes, disagreements, modifications, or change orders.
  • Coordinate and oversee scheduling consultant reviews on the project.
  • Oversee and manage the transfer of the building operations to the client including all close out documentation and warranties.
  • Must be able to commute between Singapore and Malaysia or station in Malaysia for 6months or longer.

Skills / Experience Required

  • Min 510 years work experience from design to T&C and handing over of O&M documentations. Preferably have prior track record in managing large scale mission critical projects.
  • Experienced Project Manager plus a minimum of few years sector experience in Data Centres or related Hi-Tech asset type.
  • Knowledge of Structural, Civil, Plumbing, Mechanical, Electrical on HT, MV, LV & ELV scopes of work.
  • Have participated in a largescale testing & commissioning of a Design and build Data centre projects.
  • Proven value engineering solutions with no impact on quality and reliability.
  • Advanced skills with spreadsheets, report writing and presentations.
  • Strong and professional communication skills, with great organization skills, ability to multitask.
  • Must have a "team attitude", be selfmotivated and be willing to support other groups and projects when required.
  • Entrepreneurial thinking, creativity, and dynamism.
  • Flexible mobility advantageous.

Qualifications

  • University degree in Construction Management, Electrical/Mechanical Degree, or a related field.
  • Member of a Professional Institute preferred.
