The team is made up of a group of passionate engineers from all over the world, striving to build the best systems with the most suitable technologies.

  • Design and develop Shopee Cloud Native DevOps Platform, including automation, configuration, recommendation, data correction, AIOps etc
  • Evolve Shopee Cloud Native infrastructures and empower businesses via Cloud Native technology stacks
  • Improve Shopee Cloud Native DevOps Platform's availability, stability, security and extensibility to ensure the smooth running of Shopee Cloud Native DevOps Platform
  • Develop and implement automation,engineering, and BigData solutions to detect and fix potential problems via testdriven development, chaos engineering and regular fire drills, and react quickly to incidents to reduce unnecessary manual operations and improve response time

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or higher degree in Computer Science or related fields
  • Passionate about coding and programming, innovation, and solving challenging problems
  • Indepth understanding of computer science fundamentals (data structures and algorithms, operating systems, networks, databases, software architecture, etc)
  • Strong and handson experience with at least one of the programming languages: Go, Python, C++, Java, AnsiSQL
  • Strong logical thinking ability

Skills below are optional but preferable:

  • Site Reliability Engineering background, have hands-on experience for massive scale systems
  • Experience with Cloud Native technology stack such as Kubernetes, Prometheus, CoreDNS, Istio, Helm, etcd, Jenkins and etc
  • Experience with React/Ant Design
  • Experiences in the design and development of largescale systems and platforms.
  • Experience with BigData stacks such as Hadoop, Spark, Flink, Clickhouse, HBase, Apache Hudi.
  • Understanding of various embedding (such as word, positional, rotary) and vector storage.
  • Contributed to opensource projects
  • Published papers at conferences like ASPLOS, Eurosys, NSDI, OSDI etc
