Roles & Responsibilities

Our client, a licensed asset management firm in Singapore, is looking for an Investment Operations Assistant to join their Private Markets team. This role involves advising on fund structures in private equity, venture capital, real estate, and more, providing exposure to the full fund cycle and operational support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Offer operational support for fund processes, deal support, compliance, and business needs in Private Market strategies.
  • Engage in fund launches, project management, and daily operational tasks.
  • Collaborate with external providers and internal teams, including portfolio management and compliance.

Requirements:

  • Background in accounting, finance, statistics, or business.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Capacity to manage multiple tasks, prioritize workload, and excel in a fast-paced setup.
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and skilled with numbers.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel; familiarity with VBA is a plus.
  • Self-motivated, eager to learn, team-oriented with a strong work ethic.
  • Availability for rotating shifts, including some holidays, with compensatory time off.

Job Scope:

  • Assist in fund launches, project management, and daily operational activities.
  • Support audit procedures, review Net Asset Value (NAV) packs, and conduct KYC compliance and AML checks.
  • Handle miscellaneous tasks like data collection for regulatory reports and special projects.
