Your Role and Responsibilities

Responsibility:

  • Work closely with the development team and operation team to create DevOps strategy and toolset that suits the individual squads
  • Provide mentoring to the developer community in the best practices associated with CI/CD deployments using Maven, and GIT.
  • Design, create and maintain CI/CD software delivery pipelines & tools for an enterprise scale system with a large developer base
  • Write and build continuous delivery pipelines to manage and automate the lifecycle of the different platform components.
  • Design, create and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) code artifacts and pipeline
  • Write and run scripts (using Bash, NodeJS, Python etc) to automate DevSecOps processes
  • Contribute to timely resolution of all routine and foundational DevSecOps problems and escalates complex issues when working with development teams
  • Perform deployment and security hardening of systems
  • Perform DevSecOps processes/automation improvement and using emerging technologies to evolve the cloud native tools
  • Support senior DevSecOps leadership by tracking and reporting on engineering projects and initiatives to ensure alignment between IT operations and the business.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

  • A Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, information technology or related field
  • At least two years professional experience building and maintaining Kubernetes environments with Linux
  • Strong development experience using Docker, dockercompose, and/or Kubernetes
  • Strong focus on automation which leverage on GitHub/Gitlab (preferred) CICD, Ansible Playbooks, Terraform
  • Experience in creating CICD solution using Helm, ArgoCD, GitOps, JFrog Artifactory
  • Strong knowledge in Kubernetes Service Mesh (Istio), Ingress and Policy controls
  • Strong understanding of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions
  • Strong experience with virtual load balancing setup for TCP/IP, HTTP, DNS, routings
  • Experience with Amazon AWS and onprem data centre app delivery & deployment
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills

  • Experience with cloud orchestration, configuration management and autoscaling techniques
  • Thorough knowledge of networking, routers, switches, and WiFi setup.
  • Good knowledge of storage technologies, such as NAS, SAN, SDS
  • Knowledge of IT security standards, for instance from CIS or IM
  • Exposure with Quarkus App delivery, gRPC protocols, event driven solution for microservices
  • AWS, RedHat OpenShift certifications
