We are seeking a Project Manager with a robust technical background ideally with expertise in the security domain. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of security controls, including firewalls, Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR), and various security tools. This role is pivotal in owning the delivery of quality work to our customers and providing technical guidance to the team to ensure the successful execution of security projects.

Role Description

The Project Manager is accountable for end-to-end delivery of programs and projects to meet customer needs, and responsible for customer relationships across their span of control. Projects will be primarily in the Cybersecurity space and range across various functional domains such as SIEM, SOAR, Cloud Security, Endpoint security, Data security, Security consulting, Managed services, and much more. Specifically:

Take full ownership of the project lifecycle, from initiation to delivery, ensuring that all project objectives and customer expectations are met

Convert the requirements into specific deliverables and credible plans

Drive delivery of outcomes in collaboration with a large number of stakeholders

Identify opportunities for business development and extending client relationships

Ensure the highest quality of work is delivered to the customer

Provide expert technical guidance on security controls such as firewalls, EDR, and other security tools

Support the team in overcoming technical challenges and ensuring best practices are followed

Oversee the planning, execution, and completion of security projects. Ensure projects are delivered on time and within scope

Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure project success

Maintain clear and effective communication with stakeholders, providing regular updates on project status, risks, and issues

Allocate and manage resources effectively to meet project objectives

Continuously seek ways to improve project delivery processes and methodologies. Implement feedback loops to enhance team performance and project outcomes

Must make decisions, such as prioritize relationships to develop, negotiate with customers and overcome obstacles

Applicant must be a Singapore citizen

The Project Manager will be responsible for driving the execution of strategic projects across key geographies including Singapore, Japan, UK and India.

Experience, skills, education:

5+ year's experience in Project Management role

Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field. Equivalent experience will also be considered

Strong understanding of key areas in IT function: IT Infra, SecOps

Cybersecurity background or experience will be a significant advantage

Started career working hands-on with a variety of security tools, gaining deep expertise over time to effectively guide and manage a team

Proven experience working with security controls such as firewalls, EDR, and other security tools

Strong project management skills: Structured thinking, Proactive, Assertive, delivery-oriented

Experienced in planning & executing various projects in different execution models (Waterfall & Agile) as per quality standards

Energetic and tech-savvy, inquisitive by nature, and problem solver, with strong attention to details

Working knowledge of Project Management applications & MS Office tools

Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to convey complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders

Location

The role location is Singapore

Ability and willingness to travel will be essential
