Roles & Responsibilities

Job Title:

We are looking for a dynamic Chief Information Officer (CIO) to join our team at Metis Global (Singapore) Pte. Limited. As the CIO, you will play a crucial role in shaping our information technology (IT) strategy, vision, and execution.

You will be responsible for integrating off-shore systems with our operations in Singapore, overseeing the development, implementation, and management of IT systems, infrastructure, policies, and procedures to support our organization's goals and operations.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Strategic Planning:

· Develop and implement an IT strategy that aligns with our group and organizational objectives.

· Identify opportunities to leverage technology innovatively for enhancing business performance and gaining a competitive edge.

2. IT Governance and Risk Management:

· Establish and enforce IT policies, standards, and procedures to ensure compliance, security, and data integrity.

3. Infrastructure and Operations Management:

· Lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of scalable, reliable, and secure IT infrastructure and systems.

· Manage vendor relationships and oversee contract negotiations for IT products and services.

4. Team Leadership and Talent Development:

· Build and manage a high-performing IT team, offering guidance, mentorship, and opportunities for professional growth.

5. Stakeholder Engagement:

· Collaborate with senior leadership, department heads, and business units to grasp IT requirements and priorities.

Qualifications and Skills:

1) Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).

2) Extensive experience (minimum 5 years) in a senior IT leadership role, demonstrating a successful track record in driving IT strategy and execution.

3) Sound knowledge of group business processes, operations, and industry trends.

4) Proficiency in IT governance, risk management, and regulatory compliance.

5) Proven ability to lead and motivate cross-functional teams in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

6) Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management abilities.

7) Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, ITIL) will be advantageous.
