Roles & Responsibilities

JAVA Developer (OTC Systems)

Permanent Role

Hybrid Working Location

Client Industry: Fintech

Location: CBD (Central Business District)

Job Description:

  • Responsible for Full-stack design, development and implement products and solutions for derivatives exchange platform in a number of micro-service based components
  • Work closely with product management team to continuously optimize existing or develop new models / products / algorithms
  • Participate in code audit, test and release
  • Build a rapidly deployable system with automated testing, continuous integration, and delivery
  • Identify problems in back-end infrastructure and platforms and implement solutions
  • Analyse and solve cross-stack problems
  • Work closely with security team to build and operate high security and scalable infrastructure and back-end services
  • Participate in the management of all code and function implementation documents
  • Work closely with DevOps Team to continuously upgrade and improve the technology stack.
  • Ensure that the development and maintenance of the cutting-edge trading platform provides a seamless and secure trading experience for clients across APAC, EMEA and North America regions.
  • Any other duties and responsibilities assigned by TDCX or our Client.

Job Requirements:

  • At least 5 years of JAVA Programming hands-on experience.
  • Knowledge on Market Risk
  • Experience at an Investment Bank, Hedge Fund or Exchange developing trading applications in Equity, FX or Derivative products in traditional or Crypto Market is preferred.
  • Adapt and understand TDD Methodology, experience on doing automated testing.
  • Strong desire to do things better, attention to detail and hold strong responsibility to his / her tasks
  • Open to Challenges and eager to learn
  • Able to work under pressure, fast learner and able to adapt to changing priorities within a fast-moving industry
  • Prior experience on OTC RFQ workflow / structural product system development is a strong plus point
  • Derivative product experience is a plus point
