Team Introduction
TikTok is seeking an enthusiastic Tax Business Partner to join the tax team to support its rapid business growth. This is a well-balanced regional role which comprises both tax compliance and advisory aspects.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for data preparation and collation for tax filings, tax audits and litigation;
  • Ensure timely and accurate filing of direct and indirect tax returns with support from external tax consultants where relevant;
  • Support HQ tax reporting requirements and provide guidance for tax accounting;
  • Assist in optimizing endtoend tax compliance procedures to mitigate risks and improve efficiency with coordination with other finance teams where relevant;
  • Research on tax legislation changes and assess the implications to the Group and ultimately suggest steps to manage those changes if applicable;
  • Coordinate with inhouse tax team and external tax consultants to provide tax advice to existing and new businesses lines;
  • Provide tax support on various projects as well as adhoc tax matters.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor degree or above;
  • More than 5 years of related experience in large Multinational Corporations and/or accounting firms;
  • Ability to clearly communicate tax technical issues to nontax professionals;
  • Effective oral and written communication skills;
  • Strong problemsolving and time management skills;
  • A good team player;
  • Ability to thrive in a fastpaced and dynamic environment.
  • Qualified professional qualifications such as CICPA, CTA, ACCA and other industry recognised qualifications are preferred;
  • Experience in the Internet/ TMT industry is preferred;
  • Experience in a regional tax role a plus;
  • Experience in using ERP systems to gather/analyse data a plus.
