Job Title: Transmission Equipment Technician at Singtel Networks

Make an Impact by:

  • Coordinating closely with INOC (Integrated Network Operation Centre) to ensure timely fault resolution and service restoration for access and transmission equipment, meeting SLA requirements.
  • Troubleshooting faults related to access and transmission equipment, escalating to higher-tier support if necessary.
  • Managing daily schedules for site survey, installation, testing, and maintenance of equipment to meet operational needs.
  • Monitoring equipment performance and taking corrective action as needed.
  • Providing support for cable-related service incidents and handling irregular work hours.
  • Collaborating with planners and contractors for equipment recovery activities.
  • Undertaking any additional duties as assigned.

Skills for Success:

  • Relevant qualifications in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
  • Strong knowledge of telecommunications engineering and transmission systems.
  • Experience with transmission equipment (SDH, DWDM, GPON, etc.) is a plus.
  • Willingness to work non-office hours on occasion and be on standby for ad-hoc faults.
  • Proficient in technical fault isolation and troubleshooting.
