The Group Finance Manager will assist the Group CFO in overseeing the financial operations of multiple entities within the organization. This role involves ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting, managing the consolidation process, and providing strategic financial insights to support business decisions.
Client Details
Our client is an international heavy machinery manufacturer, and have a solid track record of working with multinational giants across the agriculture industry. The company is expanding and they are looking for a new Group Finance Manager to join their team.
The Group Finance Manager will assist the Group CFO in overseeing the financial operations of multiple entities within the organization. This role involves ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting, managing the consolidation process, and providing strategic financial insights to support business decisions.
Description
- Responsible for group consolidation and preparation of consolidated financial statements in collaboration with subsidiary Financial Directors in accordance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
- Responsible for day-to-day financial operations for the Group's Singapore entities and in accordance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
- Ensure all accounting activities comply with group accounting policies and IFRS.
- Supervise monthly financials, review group statutory accounts, provide comprehensive reviews of balance sheet and cash flow, identify variances to forecast and budgets, and promptly drive appropriate actions to achieve financial objectives.
- Prepare Group board papers for audit committees and board meetings.
- Advise subsidiaries on accounting treatments and organize regular group-wide training on accounting technical topics.
- Coordinate and liaise with various stakeholders including tax agents, auditors, company secretaries, etc., to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and delivery on commitments.
- Ensure adherence to internal control policies and procedures.
- Partner with regional business leaders to provide financial insights and support strategic initiatives.
- Lead and support ad-hoc projects.
Profile
- Bachelor's degree in Accountancy or equivalent.
- Minimum of 7 years' of related finance experience.
- Relevant industry experience in the manufacturing sector would be highly beneficial.
- Strong finance leadership experience and the ability to work with finance teams across multiple countries.
- Hands-on, highly driven, resilient, resourceful, able to introduce frameworks and drive streamlining, agile, keen to drive changes and positive improvements.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
