We are seeking a skilled Senior Control Engineer - Power Generation for a role that follows a hybrid work model. The preferred locations for this role are either Tuas South, Singapore or Scoresby, Melbourne, depending on the candidate's proximity.

This position will involve being part of a team of customer-focused Power Generation Engineers who serve as the technical connection between our company and its clients. Applying our power generation products to customer power systems entails developing technical specifications, implementing design configurations, and providing high-performance, cost-effective equipment and system solutions that are seamlessly integrated with customers' power systems across various applications, including data centers, commercial buildings, hospitals, manufacturing facilities, and more.

In this role, you will contribute your expertise in power generation system-level control, testing, and commissioning engineering throughout different project phases.

In this position, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Interpreting customer requirements
  • Identifying regulatory requirements
  • Defining functional and performance requirements
  • Suggesting suitable control systems and solutions
  • Communicating control system installation needs
  • Reviewing control system installation designs
  • Overseeing the implementation of electrical/control system projects
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to integrate control systems
  • Providing PLC programming and troubleshooting support
  • Developing control, testing, and commissioning documentations
  • Supporting testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting activities
  • Offering technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers
  • Keeping updated on emerging technologies and applying innovative solutions
  • Ensuring compliance with safety protocols in all engineering tasks

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics, or Systems Engineering
  • Ability to interpret single-line diagrams and control system drawings
  • PLC programming knowledge
  • Familiarity with MS Office tools
