About the Role

Responsible for assisting in monthly closing of AIA Singapore and other AIA related entities


Responsible for assisting in preparation of periodic quarter-end and annual preparation of group closing templates, MAS returns and SFRS financial documents as well as investment accounting.


Responsibilities:

  • Monthly closing for Singapore and related entities
  • Prepares monthly closing journals and other related financial information
  • Quarterly / annual closing for Singapore and related entities
  • Assist in preparing group IFRS templates
  • Assist in preparation of the MAS returns together with analysis
  • Assist in preparation of the SFRS financial documents together with analysis
  • Quarterly balance sheet reconciliation
  • Prepares balance sheet attestation and investigates and followup on exceptional items
  • Investment accounting
  • Year-end audit

Requirements:

  • Bachelors or equivalent Degree in Accounting / Finance or
  • 1 to 2 years' experience in financial reporting or audit
  • Relevant experience in Microsoft Excel and SAP
