Roles & Responsibilities

The M&E Senior Quantity Surveyor is responsible for managing all cost and contractual issues on main contract as well as sub-contracts connected to the project.

A summary of the responsibilities of this position are, and not limited to, as follows:

  • Responsible for preparing progress payment claims, variation orders, project budgets & cost control and settlement of final account.
  • Responsible for pre- & post-contracts administration and control.
  • Conduct survey works during project tender stage.
  • Produce pre-tender estimation, preparation of tender documents and maintenance of project documents.
  • Source for suppliers and request for quotations.
  • Conduct tender exercise such as selection of bidders, tender documentation, evaluation of tender submission and award of contract to successful bidder.

Value Add of Position

  • Ability to identify potential and occurring problems that affect the schedule of works at site and recommend solutions to the relevant team.
  • Ability to make correct decisions quickly.

Qualifications and Education Requirements

  • Experience: 3 to 5 years of M&E Quantity Surveying experience.
  • Familiar with relevant drawings, specifications and details.
  • Experience in civil infrastructure project is an added advantage.
