Job Description:


The Risk, Governance & Compliance function within the Marketing Finance team, provides transparency into the exposure, profit/loss results and risks being run in the different commodity trading and marketing portfolios, as well as ensuring that the Marketing function is being run in a well-governed manner.


The Marketing Compliance Intern will support the work of the Compliance function in ensuring the Marketing teams strictly adhere to and comply with Internal Group policies and procedures and externally driven regulations, resulting in a well-controlled Marketing organisation, where losses due to governance failure or non-compliance with regulations are avoided.


  • Monthly/quarterly/midyearly review and reporting of gifts, entertainment and hospitality/conflicts of interest submissions and other Compliance issues/declarations.
  • Liaising with Group stakeholders to assist in provision of training completion statistics
  • Updating of records for:
- intermediaries related activities such as trainings and declarations
- incidents with regards to monitoring and surveillance systems
- external complaints

  • Antitrust related
  • Refreshing of corporate website to update and expand contents by adding research articles and useful links
  • Preparation of monthly newsletter
  • Any project related to the roll out of Marketing's Compliance Framework

Qualifications:

QUALIFICATIONS

  • University degree in relevant field, such as Law, Accounting or Economics or relevant experience

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS

  • Fluent written and spoken English is a prerequisite.
  • Additional language skills would be beneficial
  • Excellent governance skills
  • Strong quantitative and analytical skills
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strong ability to prioritise and work effectively to meet deadlines, strong project management skills
  • Selfstarter and highly professional
