As an Application Developer, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining software applications. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to create efficient and user-friendly software solutions. Your responsibilities will include:

Development and Maintenance : Design, develop, and enhance applications using modern technologies. Ensure the scalability, security, and performance of applications. Process Automation : Implement software tools to automate existing office procedures. Streamline workflows and improve efficiency by identifying areas for automation. Work closely with stakeholders to understand their needs and develop customized solutions. Troubleshooting and Bug Fixes : Investigate and resolve issues in existing applications. Debug code, identify bottlenecks, and optimize performance. Maintain documentation for troubleshooting procedures. Operational Support : Provide technical support to end-users, addressing their queries and resolving issues promptly. Collaborate with the IT team to ensure smooth operations and minimal downtime. Monitor system performance and proactively address any issues. Additional Responsibilities : Adapt to changing priorities and take on other tasks as assigned. Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies. Contribute to a positive team environment and foster knowledge sharing.

Requirements:

To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and skills:

Technical Skills : Proficiency in HTML , CSS , and JavaScript for front-end development. Proficiency in SQL syntax and query optimisation. Familiarity with Python for scripting and automation. Problem-Solving Abilities : Ability to troubleshoot and debug complex issues efficiently. Analytical mindset to identify root causes and implement effective solutions. Communication and Collaboration : Excellent communication skills to interact with users, stakeholders, and team members. Collaborative approach to work effectively in a team environment. Bonus Skills : Familiarity with Jira for issue tracking and project management. Knowledge of Outsystems (low-code platform) would be advantageous.
