Overview

The Front End Developer will be tasked with crafting and optimizing responsive web pages for the SEA market using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and more, based on visual guidelines. The role includes localizing pages using provided assets by updating links, images, and text.

Responsibilities
  • Create new digital assets based on client and management input
  • Adjust existing code for the SEA markets, which involves modifying image paths, file names, directories, and other elements
  • Ensure all tasks align with the project brief and client requirements
  • Meet deadlines by developing efficiently and swiftly
  • Generate digital assets in various South East Asian languages
  • Revise and enhance current assets
  • Maintain client digital assets with clean, accessible markup adhering to web standards
  • Assist project managers with digital requests
  • Stay updated on industry trends to enhance development processes
Qualifications
  • 1-3 years of front-end development experience
  • Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and meet deadlines
  • Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and organized
  • Proficient in web languages and technologies, including version control systems (SVN and GIT), repositories, and build tools (Grunt, Gulp)
  • Expertise in HTML / HTML5, CSS / CSS3, and JavaScript / JQuery
  • Experience with responsive design
  • Familiarity with Front End Frameworks (Bootstrap, Foundation)
  • Knowledge of version control using GIT / SVN
  • Skilled in image manipulation tools (Photoshop, Fireworks) and slicing elements from PSD files
  • Ability to code with accessibility and SEO in mind
  • Understanding of Usability principles
  • Proficiency in developing to W3C Standards
  • Experience with Email newsletter builds
  • Knowledge of progressive enhancement and graceful degradation
  • Familiarity with Bash shell
  • Optimization for mobile devices and proficiency in responsive design
  • Keen attention to detail
