Our Background:

Outdoor School Singapore is expanding Since 2019, we have partnered schools, parents, and organisations to support children's learning beyond the four walls of a regular classroom.

Instructor (adjunct) where you can still leave your mark as an educator on our participants.

We are looking to hire new instructors on both contract (12 months) and adjunct (freelance) basis.

Responsibilities:

• Implement the activities in accordance with the guidelines, framework, and philosophy of the company
• Flexible and possess the ability to respond effectively to their working conditions
• Facilitate activities and multiday trips at various locations within Singapore
• Be a role model and forge strong relationships with participants
• Uphold good relationships with parents
• Conduct riskassessment to ensure participant's safety
• Attend all instructor training sessions
• Clean, maintain and prepare equipment and logistics

Requirements:

• Relevant experience in Early Childhood, Sports or Outdoor Education would be advantageous
• At least 2 years of relevant experience in a similar capacity; conducting outdoorrelated programmes (for children preferred) / facilitation/education workshops
• Exhibit classroom management skills and ability to motivate and engage children
• Passionate about outdoor adventure learning and nature
• Positive learning attitude and a growth mindset
• Comfortable with facilitating outdoor activities for children aged 4
• Ability to commit to the entire duration of each programme
• Available to start work within one month's notice
• Currently reside in Singapore
