Job Description
This position focused on growth comes with the key responsibility of delivering a comprehensive range of fund administration services to our real estate client. The individual in this role will play a critical part in applying current accounting principles to fund accounting and financial reporting, as well as reviewing transaction and valuation data. Here is a summary of some of the key responsibilities and skills required:
- Preparation of Net Asset Value calculation and associated reporting
- Preparation of investor capital call and distribution calculations and notices
- Assistance with annual financial audit and other statutory reporting
- Support for tax reporting with tax agents
- Assistance with investors' customized reporting
- Understanding fund documentation and applying terms to financial reporting and income and expense allocations for Partner's Capital Statement
- Maintaining knowledge of accounting principles and devising solutions for issues
- Ensuring seamless service delivery to clients and meeting deliverable deadlines
- Participating in the on-boarding process for new funds
- Resolving client queries efficiently and maintaining high levels of client satisfaction
- Identifying opportunities for internal process enhancement and operational efficiency improvements
- Engaging in company and client initiatives beyond regular responsibilities
- Performing any other duties assigned as necessary
Qualifications
- Hold a university degree in Finance/Accounting or relevant qualification
- 2-4 years of progressive accounting/audit/fund administration experience in real estate or related industry
- Thorough understanding of the fund industry
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office products and adaptability to new technologies
- Strong knowledge of IFRS, US GAAP, and Singapore GAAP, with familiarity in Luxembourg GAAP as a plus
- Experience with Yardi accounting software is advantageous
