Job Summary: The Curriculum Developer is responsible for creating, revising, and managing WSQ-compliant course materials, preparing necessary documentation for approval, crafting valid assessment criteria, anticipating and addressing potential issues, and continuously updating course content to meet the latest standards and learner feedback. This position is within a training unit operated by MTFA.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create end-to-end course development of WSQ compliant course materials.
  • Design, develop, and revise a full set of course materials.
  • Prepare necessary documentation for approval and complete the process within project deadlines.
  • Develop valid and reliable WSQ assessment criteria and specifications.
  • Identify potential shortcomings and suggest corrective actions.
  • Continuously update and enhance course materials to align with the latest standards and learner feedback.
  • Perform any other tasks as directed by the management.

Requirements

  • Hold a Diploma in Adult and Continuing Education (IAL DACE certified) or WSQ Diploma in Design and Development of Learning for Performance (DDDLP).
  • Minimum of a bachelor's degree in a relevant domain area.
  • At least 1 full round of WSQ development experience in areas such as Food and Hygiene, Lifesaving (First Aid Courses), Social Service, Safety & Security, etc.
  • Demonstrate good presentation skills and proficiency in English written grammar.
  • Possess strong project management skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic environment.
  • Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
