Instrumentation & Control Engineer is experienced in hardware configuration and software coding of electrical, instrumentations and control process projects.

Job Descriptions:

  • Development & Implementation of Instrumentation & Control, Robotic, Building Automation, Industrial Automation, Process Control Application.
  • Implementation of Process Automation, Instrumentation and Control, Testing and Commissioning, Technical Support, Customer Service, Programming, Computer and Server, Industrial Networking
  • Responsible for design & development, implementation, onsite testing & commissioning, support, documentation, and training
  • Prepare RFQ and perform bidding evaluation for field instruments
  • Prepare process control & instrumentation philosophy, specifications, and datasheets in accordance with client/industry standards
  • Prepare instrument list, database, control system block diagrams and control narratives
  • Prepare process cause & effect diagrams in line with process P&ID/safe charts
  • Prepare fire & gas cause & effect diagrams in line with detector layout/technical safety design.
  • Review vendor package detailed engineering design specification and functional design specifications
  • Actively participate & contribute workshops, various studies, contractor meetings, cross functional meetings, interface management and coordination with package vendor.
  • Code and troubleshoot control instrumentation, monitoring equipment from the field to the end device, Precommissioning and commissioning remote I/O panels, including input and output loops, device functionally, the control network
  • Verification of data transfer through serial link interfaces between packaged equipment and ICSS.
  • Understand, interpret, and work from various forms of project drawings such as P&ID's, BLD's, Wiring Diagrams, IO Lists etc
  • Complete all relevant project documentation including knowledge of CMS, Mechanical Completion and Precommissioning check sheets
  • Have a sound knowledge in the function and use of the various test equipment to perform the above tasks, have a sound understanding of certified equipment and hazardous areas.
  • Assist in providing training for less experienced personnel
  • Assist in the design, specification and services relating to instrumentation control & safety system engineering for projects relating to Process Industry.
  • Assist the study, design, specification, and services related to process systems including instrumentation control & safety system, and process control.
  • Support the instrumentation control & safety system design, specification, selection, vendor drawing reviews and testing services.
  • Support the knowledge of technical specifications, Knowledge of the architecture of the control system.
  • Assist to specify material Instrumentation control & safety system, deliver Index, Datasheets
  • Assist in creating Functional Analysis, narrative control, cause & effect matrices, logic diagrams
  • Support in preparing Material Requisitions /TBE, Vendor documents review
  • Working knowledge of applicable industry codes and standards
  • Adhoc engineering support to customer when required.

Requirements:

  • Relevant graduate degree in Engineering (Electrical, Computing, Mechatronic or similar discipline)
  • Min 12 years' experience in good engineering practice, process automation, robotic, service and maintenance. Fresh graduates are welcome.
  • Preferred design coding experience with hydrocarbon engineering or offshore processing facilities
  • Able to meet the project expectations in terms of quality and schedule
  • Collaborative and team player, selfmotivated, creative, versatile, and independent
  • Strong verbal, written communication skills and presentation skills
  • Preferred functional safety trained/certification
  • Willing to work on fastpaced environment
  • Preferred Handson experience in instrumentation implementation
  • Knowledge of Building Automation & Process Control
  • Experience in BMS / PLC / HMI process control / automation system, onsite commissioning preferred
  • Strong problemsolving and analytical skills
  • Preferred IT knowledge for Server/Client and Infrastructure
  • Customer orientated & Analytical thinking
  • Ability to work well with others in a team environment, providing input and feedback in a helpful manner. Must be able to establish & maintain positive and effective working relationships with supervisors, fellow workers, and be able to interact well with vendors.
  • Good timekeeping practices
  • Strong team player with excellent interpersonal and communication skills, ability to work independently, Proactive, and able to work in a fastpaced environment and handle multiple tasks when required.
  • Salary: $2700 $ per month
  • Schedule: Monday to Saturday
  • Contract: Minimum 2 Years
