Expectations of a Business Director/Group Account Director

  • Manages a portfolio of global brands and different global workstreams (you will be supported by a team).
  • Hold strategic conversation with senior clients, define key priorities for the account to support growth agenda
  • Along with Creative Directors and Strategic Planner, sets strategic approach and creative expression for client account.
  • Partners with Senior Planners and with local markets counterparts to enable relevant insight and creative outputs for global campaigns.
  • Champion and elevate creative output on the account
  • Lead the integration of capabilities and external partners to deliver seamless campaign ecosystem.
  • Problem solves on high level account and production issues and knows when to involve Management.
  • Builds and maintains top level client relationships; acts as key partner and advisor to clients offering strategies and solutions to address their business challenges.
  • Leads monthly client revenue tracking and analyzes revenue impact on account and agency profitability.
  • Lead & support the team in delivering projects on timing and budget with greater creative outputs.

Qualifications:

  • 12+ years of experience in managing business and/or project teams
  • Strong strategic thinking and experience delivering successful integrated communications
  • Has experience working on global, regional business is preferred
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines in a fastpaced creative environment
  • Effective negotiation and problemsolving skills required
  • Strong financial understanding of budgeting, estimating and agency profitability
  • A proven track record of gaining trust and respect by consistently demonstrating sound critical thinking skills and maintaining composure in stressful situations
