Java Technical Architect - Join Our Team

Job Summary:

We are looking for a Java Technical Architect who will be in charge of designing and supervising the development of intricate software systems utilizing Java technologies. This role demands a thorough understanding of architectural principles, extensive experience in Java development, and the ability to guide and support a team of developers. The ideal candidate should have a solid track record of delivering top-notch, scalable software solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Architectural Design: Design and create complex software solutions using Java technologies that meet business requirements, scalability, and maintainability.
  • Technical Leadership: Provide guidance and leadership to the development team, ensuring the adoption of best practices in software development, code quality, and performance.
  • Project Management: Collaborate with project managers and stakeholders to establish project requirements, scope, and timelines, ensuring timely and within budget project deliveries.
  • Code Review: Conduct thorough code reviews to maintain adherence to architectural standards, code quality, and best practices.
  • Innovation: Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies, evaluate and suggest new tools, frameworks, and technologies for process enhancement.
  • Mentorship: Guide and educate junior developers, promoting a culture of continuous learning and growth.
  • Documentation: Develop and maintain architectural documentation, including design specifications, diagrams, and technical guidelines.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with fellow architects, developers, QA engineers, and business analysts to ensure seamless integration of software components.
  • Problem Solving: Identify and resolve technical issues to guarantee the stability and performance of software systems.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 8 years in software development with at least 2 years as a technical architect.
  • Technical Skills:
    • Proficiency in Java and related technologies like Spring and Hibernate.
    • Experience with microservices architecture and RESTful APIs.
    • Strong grasp of software design patterns and architectural principles.
    • Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, and containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
    • Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases and caching mechanisms.
    • Skilled in DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
    • Knowledge of front-end technologies such as Angular and React is a plus.
