What You'll Do
  • Design, implement, and oversee security protocols for cloud environments.
  • Conduct regular security audits and assessments on cloud infrastructure.
  • Collaborate with diverse teams to integrate optimal security practices into cloud-based applications and services.
  • Monitor and address security incidents promptly to ensure effective resolution.
  • Establish and manage access controls, encryption methods, and other security components.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and emerging threats to proactively mitigate potential vulnerabilities.
  • Develop and document security policies, procedures, and guidelines tailored for cloud environments.
What Will Make You Shine
  • Hold a Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Security, or a related field.
  • Possess relevant certifications like AWS Certified Security - Specialty or Certified Cloud Security Professional (CCSP), which are advantageous.
  • Bring a minimum of five (5) years of IT experience in deploying and managing cloud-based applications and services, emphasizing solution design, development, and implementation.
  • Demonstrate proven expertise as a Cloud Security Engineer or in similar roles, particularly focusing on AWS cloud services.
  • Possess a solid understanding of security principles.
  • Have proficient knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
  • Be skilled in security concepts related to infrastructure as code (IaC) and containerization.
  • Show experience with security tools and technologies, including Security Information and Events Management, Data Loss Prevention, Database Activity Monitoring, and more.
