What the role is

  • The Teaching & Learning Unit (TLU) promotes excellence in teaching and learning through experimenting, designing and implementing innovative pedagogies; supporting and driving SP and School of Business (SB) teaching and learning initiatives; and providing professional development support to fellow colleagues in faculty development and training.
The appointee must be competent to teach in business/innovation-related modules, particularly in the following areas:

  • Business foundation modules (Marketing/HR/Business Negotiation)
  • Design Thinking
**Responsibilities:
- *
  • Conduct lessons (facetoface/online), create teaching and assessment materials, and facilitate learning of students (youths and adult learners)
  • Develop and maintain new/existing teaching curriculum. This includes regular review of existing curriculum and recommendations on areas of improvements that would enhance students' learning, performance and employability.
  • Support the School's and TLU's strategic initiatives through leading projects such as learning festival, workshops, teaching innovation projects.
  • Keep current and abreast of trends and developments in the areas of design thinking and innovation
  • Handle administrative work relating to teaching and assigned projects
**Requirements:
- *
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant working experience with proven track records in innovation or event management
  • Relevant qualification in Business or Event Management
  • Strong passion in mentoring students and show genuine concern for them
  • Selfdriven, adaptable, resourceful and possess good time management and multitasking skills
  • A strong team player with good communication skills
  • Relevant experience in training/teaching of Data Analytics or Learning Analytics will be an advantage but not a musthave.
