Areas of Responsibilities

  • Understand functional and nonfunctional requirements (e.g. portability) with the Pega architecture and ensure they are addressed in the design; prepare the low level design and common frameworks;
  • Should have experience in using Pega PDC tool
  • Should have experience in COSMOS UI design
  • Should have experience in creating/managing spinoff flows in Pega product
  • Should have experience in Pega framework PIIF (Insurance Industry Framework)
  • Seek guidance from Application Architect as and when required.
  • Present the detailed design documents to the customer technology SME;
  • Identify and conduct design of complex subcomponents / module in collaboration with project team, architects and client SME;
  • Undertake project specific proof of concepts activities(Claims domain) to validate technical feasibility (with guidance from the Application Architect);
- present the Pega architecture to customers and seek sign-off;
- work on specific test cases for Pega technology intensive modules for claim process projects:

  • Contribute to the design to address all client requirements for major enhancements Service Support and Maintenance
  • Identify avenues to improve project delivery parameters (e.g. productivity, efficiency, process, security etc.) by leveraging tools, automation etc. Knowledge Management
  • Create and update knowledge articles in the knowledge management repository;
  • Provide guidance to team members to maintain all documentation related to claims project and Pega process flows;
  • Conduct KT sessions;
  • Create knowledge articles on the problem, workaround solutions;
  • Monitor and report the usage of knowledge articles;
  • Maintain knowledge management database Training and Recruitment / People Management
  • Provide assistance in selection of representative employee groups for training; Mentor team members in project teams with respect to product and domain skills on projects;
  • Gain industry standard certifications on technology and architecture consulting Project Planning and Set up
  • Provide support for project estimations in terms of review and validation for projects of lesser complexity based on analyzing business requirements (e.g. component level estimation);
  • Articulate estimation methodology and module level estimations for standard projects (with focus on effort estimation);
  • Involve in Claim process audits and provide artifacts on need basis for both internal and external auditors
  • Troubleshoot Pega exceptions and issues users are experiencing in Production region and identify rootcause and provide a workaround and advise on permanent resolution of the issue
  • Provide Pega related performance reports on need basis and help users with the performance issues they are encountering and providing resolutions.
  • Leverage other monitoring tools such as Dynatrace, Splunk to understand the issue and its severity and inform stakeholders upfront about the situation and reduce the impact to Users.
  • Open technical bridges on need basis and involve all technical teams to work on the production incident and take it to closure.

Experience Details

  • Should have experience in creating/managing Pega workflow's
  • Should have experience in creating rich User Interfaces using pega technology
  • Should have experience in creating/managing Pega Agents/Listeners in both single node and multi node environments
  • Should have at least 3 years of experience in Insurance domain especially in Claim adjudication process
  • Should have exceptional functional knowledge on the Claim FNOL (first notice of loss) process
  • Should have good functional knowledge on the Claim subrogation and recovery process
  • Should have experience on Pega multinode implementations
