About this role

As a BIM Consultant, you will aim to develop key knowledge and skills by setting up BIM standards, coordinating BIM projects and providing technical advice on BIM workflows.

The role must be filled with a qualified consultant with a proven digital engineering experience and desirable 5 years' experience within the discipline.

The Digital team within Singapore provides digital services for our clients in Digital Technology & Advisory, Data & Services Development and BIM & Document Delivery.

This role will operate within our dedicated BIM Advisory and Information Management under the BIM & Document Delivery Team.

The successful applicant will be actively involved in providing advisory and solution on BIM consultancy across all our portfolios, major projects and to our key clients.

You will provide an opportunity to be exposed to a wide range of BIM related activities and technologies in a thriving and highly technical environment including coordinating with our Southeast Asia and Australia offices.


What will I do?

  • Ensure that the architecture, systems and services are implemented to the agreed SLA's and/or client requirements and ensuring conformance to British or International Standards (ISO 19650 etc) custom workflows and data residency requirements. Authoring best practice client and projects technical, functional, and operational specifications to the requirements of ISO 19650, including but not limited to
  • Project Quality Proposal (for Tender)
  • Business Capability Statements
  • Employers Information Requirements
  • BIM Execution Plans
  • Quality Assurance manuals
  • Support BIM cloud platforms for management and automation of BIM models and processes as the configuration and management of IMS/ CDE platform for internal and external projects.
  • Plan and coordinate trials and pilots of updates and new technical software solutions that integrate with EDMS, CDE and Digital Collaboration platforms as the business requires.
  • Provide basic programming and automation skills when required that support services and as well as improvement to business processes and project delivery.
  • Benchmark incumbent practices against international best practice. Identify innovation and improvements to services and facilitate change when appropriate.

What will I bring?

  • Recognized relevant tertiary qualifications in architecture, engineering, construction, or similar area.
  • Membership of relevant professional institutions/professional peer bodies or significant progress towards obtaining a membership.
  • 5 years' experience in the architecture, engineering consulting or construction industry must demonstrate direct relationship to the time spent in delivery of digital engineering processes for Infrastructure projects
  • Experience in asset management, programming, parametric design are desirable but not essential.
  • Able to Improve, define, or develop, implement, and enforce BIM standards, documentation, and workflow processes.
