The ICC Academy, launched in 2015, is the educational arm of the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC), the institutional representative of more than 45 million companies in over 170 countries.

ICC's core mission is to make business work for everyone, every day, everywhere.

The role


At ICC Academy we know that our content marketing drives tangible results, increasing our online visibility and in turn driving sales revenue.

However, there is so much more that we can do.

This new role has been created to help us expand the impact and scope of a proven marketing channel, including with our B2B audience.


This role will suit a content marketer who wants more freedom and responsibility, and the opportunity to make a real impact in a start-up environment.

Despite ICC Academy being a small team here in Singapore, you will be backed by the security and resources of ICC, an easily recognised global brand with headquarters in Paris and a presence in more than 90 countries around the world.


What you'll do:

  • Implement and evolve the content marketing strategy for both our B2C and B2B audiences with the support of the Head of Marketing & Sales and our Global Learning team in Paris
  • Manage a diverse range of content contributors including ICC Academy clients and customers, ICC policy managers, external authors and experts, ICC National Committees, Chambers of Commerce and the wider ICC Global Learning team.
  • Be ICC Academy's website editor, in charge of optimising all content for SEO, keeping all our pages uptodate and relevant, adding new pages when needed and regularly reviewing pages for errors or typos
  • Manage the ICC Academy content and social media calendar to ensure we are publishing to a regular rhythm across all our core distribution channels and that our content provides value to our target audiences
  • Ensure a consistent style and tone of voice across all content, working closely with the wider ICC communications team in Paris to ensure we adhere to brand guidelines

Skills and experience needed:

  • 5+ years of content and social media marketing experience
  • Strong trackrecord of producing educational resources to drive business growth and increase demand for digital products
  • Strong trackrecord of planning, developing and producing content for both B2B and B2C audiences
  • A proven ability to produce content that varies in topic and format; from research whitepapers and indepth educational guides to Twitter threads and live streams on LinkedIn.
  • Savvy and well versed in various SEO and linkbuilding strategies
  • Clear, concise communicator with strong English writing and editing skills
  • Proactive, independently minded with a strong desire to succeed
  • Proficiency in Adobe products, especially Premiere, Photoshop and InDesign would be a major advantage
  • Experience working in banking, trade finance, logistics or shipping would be an advantage
  • Experience using the following digital tools would be an advantage; WordPress, Optin Monster, Hootsuite, Ahrefs, Mailchimp and Zoho
