JOB SCOPE

  • Assist in developing investment solutions and propositions including ILP fund ideas / strategies to achieve topline growth.
  • Provide investment products for distribution channels, both internal and third parties taking into account and balancing regulatory, business and customer needs as well as adhering to internal approval and/or governance requirements.
  • Assist in the documentation for all fund due diligence exercises, mandates, evaluation of funds, structured fund solutions, approvals / selections of fund managers and/or asset management companies.
  • Manage regular and adhoc activities of the ILP funds business which includes but not limited to corporate actions (e.g. fund changes, closures), model portfolio rebalancing activities, dividend declarations, operational and/or processes, etc.
  • Prepare and update of fund related materials e.g. documentation, product highlight sheet, fund information booklet, annual / semiannual reports, etc.
  • Identify investment ideas / gaps and work with product providers on suitable solutions and position investment themes.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders e.g. finance distribution, marketing / communications, to provide and/or operationalise the solutions to customer needs.
  • To continually explore investment solutions and/or opportunities in all asset classes for better portfolio returns and risk diversification with primary focus on investmentlinked solutions but also expected to handle crossteam initiatives involving noninvestment linked solutions.

REQUIREMENTS

  • University degree, preferably in Economics, Finance, Investment, Mathematic, Actuarial Sciences, Statistics, Accounting, Business Management, Engineering or any other related qualification.
  • At least 5 years of relevant experience in asset management, unit trust, insurance/takaful, product development, product management
  • Able to work within tight timeline
