What the role is

  • The Strategic Planning (Planning & Transformation) team maintains an overview of MOM's work and collaborates with MOM divisions/departments to:
(a) drive strategic planning, by actively ensuring MOM officers and divisions/departments' alignment to MOM's mission, vision and North Stars and realising organisational shifts;
(b) enable transformation by driving, innovating and supporting Ops-Tech integration to contribute to whole-of-government efforts; and
(c) monitor MOM's organisational health and risks to take timely interventions to drive and enhance it so that MOM is organisationally healthy and aligned, with the requisite capabilities, resources and governance.

What you will be working on

  • Key planning platforms to facilitate strategic discussions and alignment on MOM's purpose, goals and strategies, e.g. Work Plan Seminar
  • Strategic engagements with internal and external stakeholders, e.g. Head of Civil Service and Public Service Commission visits to Ministry Families and internal comms to support transformation and change management
  • Public Sector Transformation (PST), e.g. staffing the DSchaired MOM Transformation Platform meetings, and supporting Ops-Tech integration to enable MOM's transformation
  • Organisational Health framework and dashboard and Enterprise Risk Management framework and dashboard to track, measure and diagnose MOM's organisational health and risks as well as develop interventions to proactively address issues

Relevant experience in strategic planning, Ops-Tech work is preferred, but not mandatory.
