Junior Quant Analyst.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct original quantitative trading alpha signal research using ideas relevant but not limited to; market microstructure and the price discovery process, determinants of spreads and quotes, participants trading behaviours, private transaction cost data and statistical machine learning techniques
  • Manage all aspects of the strategy development process, including data analysis, hypothesis testing, backtesting, signal implementation and posttrade analysis
  • Maintain and improve current trading infrastructure used for daily operations

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Finance, Data Analytics, Economics, or other related disciplines
  • 0 to 2 years of working experience (fresh graduates strongly welcomed to apply)
  • Strong coding capability in Python is a must
  • Experience with SQL is a plus
  • Experience working in a Linux environment is a plus
  • Willingness to take ownership of their work
  • Detailoriented work ethic
  • Able to operate both independently and collaboratively within a team
  • Having concise and effective communication skills
  • Possess decisive thinking capability with the ability to not only perform but thrive in a dynamic and fastpaced professional trading environment
