About the Role:


The Program Manager is an individual contributor role in Thales that will be working under the company's card BPS cards' issuance business.

It is going to be part of a global team that works closely with the product marketing team, RnD, Production, QE, and other relevant departments across the organization.


Responsibilities:

  • Accountable for delivering programs on a timely manner and in addressing the clients (internal Product Marketing team) queries and requirement following a certain level of quality.
  • Lead and coordinate programs certifications initiatives which involves liaising with internal and external parties.
  • Deal with clients in providing consolidated planning and project details.
  • Develop the tools and personalization script for each payment scheme
  • Write the Field Requirement Specification (FRS) by taking into account the customers and product manager requirements as well as R&D's feedback. FRS shall cover all product aspects including use cases, functional, technical design, and certifications.
  • Manage product's evolution or changes initiated by Product Manager
  • Ensure that first customers' deliveries are performed as defined based on agreed methodologies.
  • Provide update on project/program progress, issues, risk, planning, cost and action (in line with existing template including certification activities) and escalate critical issues when needed
  • Establish ad hoc activities to achieve quality objectives regarding product and process: risk analysis, waivers
  • Work closely with R&D team in workload planning as well as technical requirement and approaches used for new products.
  • Give inputs for the technical part of the MCRD (Marketing Customer Requirement Description)
  • In charge of relationships & negotiations with schemes and labs.
  • Responsible for certification activities of the related programs: slotting, planning progress and managing labs deliverables (Impact Analysis Document, samples, POs.), understanding of issues,
  • Document all changes done if applicable.
  • Responsible in following and influencing the evolution of the certification processes with the certification organisms.
  • Develop and deliver windowbased and mobilebased tool (tool for internal customer to automate and improve daytoday work and a tool for external customer to validate, personize, and industrialize product)
  • Manage innovation in the projects: push idea emergence, design thinking
  • Make sure to protect the IP rights related to the solution
  • Manage FTO freedom to operate for the technology embedded in the solution
  • Adopt Ecodesign approach
  • Involve in POC development
Depending on project, the Program Manager will be assigned on one or several of the following roles:

  • Manage Project -PRJ: Project Manager
  • Product policy PRP: PLA
  • Engineering DDQS: SEM, PDA, IVVQM (for Solution Technical Validation)

Requirement:

  • Engineering degree (Software, Physics or Electronics)
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in the relevant field, i.e. security, EMV Cards and some project management/design or consulting background
  • Knowledgeable of Cards and/or Software technologies, certification processes, EMV Card. Smart Card.
  • Multi language coding skill: Python, TCL, Java, JavaScript, VisualStudio, C#, HTML and etc.
  • Customer oriented
