About the role:


We are looking for an experienced Master Data Manager cum Steward for our Digital Supply Chain Transformation Programme including SAP IBP, SAP SCC/Ariba and Manufacturing Bills of Materials (MBOM) integration with our PLM platform.

This is a newly created role that aims at driving a shared version of the truth through data and supporting organization wide information governance to create and enforce information management policies.

A solid understating of stewardship - interpreting exceptions to policies and resolving them - and a sharp vision is important.


  • Advise business leaders on the best workflows and business process design for introducing new products (data) or adding new customers (data) to the corporate business systems.
  • Cleanse specific datasets in preparation for loading into business systems such as Planning, Supply Chain Collaboration or ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) MBOMs (Manufacturing Bills of Material)
  • Explain to IT/architects what level of data quality or access is needed to meet business goals by defining business requirements for certain key data elements.
  • Develop the master data landscape to support our vision and ensure that our program managers and product owners stay on track to deliver accordingly.
  • Drive a consistent master data strategy and execution that supports the improvement of our data quality.
  • Monitor and respond to specific data elements that prevent a business transaction from taking place.
  • Monitor the state of supply chain master data (for example: customer, products, assets) and the business outcomes of the Chief Supply Chain Officer.
  • Collaborate with MDM (Master Data Manager) and business stakeholders to receive and understand policy directives.
  • Manage the Configuration Change Management (CCM) process for product designs and monitor engineering changes to assess the impact on engineering BOM.
  • Manage the BOM data migration and validation between systems.

About you:

  • Bachelor's in supply chain master data management, MDM in consumer products, and data visualization tools.
  • Master's degree is desirable.
  • Minimally 5 years' work experience in global manufacturing businesses.
  • Crossfunctional leadership skills.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Proven record of accomplishment in large scale digital master data management.
