About the Job:

We are looking for a skilled professional to join our team as a Black Metals Trading Manager. Roles & Responsibilities:
  • Manage black metals related physical and derivatives trading risks with utmost care and adherence to company policies;
  • Develop and execute yearly plans, objectives, and budgets for the black metals book;
  • Negotiate with trade partners, oversee resource supply, logistics, and terminal demand;
  • Identify new business opportunities, enhance existing models, and add value for our customers;
  • Optimize product storage operations, ensuring efficient inventory management;
  • Participate in chartering decisions and monitor market supply and demand;
  • Expand regional trades, assess market risks, and support sales assets for success;
  • Contribute to research, development, and evaluation of new products and trading strategies;
  • Maintain business database, optimize systems, and ensure smooth data operations;
  • Handle trade receivables and assist in ad-hoc tasks as needed.

Requirements:
  • Hold a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Business Management, or related field;
  • Minimum 5 years of trading experience in black metals (physical and derivatives) along with strong knowledge in operations and logistics;
  • Deep understanding of refining economics, market trends, and pricing structures;
  • Demonstrated ability to manage a trading book independently;
  • Hands-on attitude, self-driven, and capable of working autonomously;
  • Adaptability and willingness to thrive in a fast-paced environment;
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and interpersonal skills;
  • Detail-oriented with effective analytical capabilities;
  • High ethical standards, responsibility, and team player mindset;
  • Strong organizational skills, time management, and stress handling abilities;
  • Openness to travel when required.
