This manager needs to have experience in payment related products or technical platforms and should be familiar with the market from an unsecured lending portfolio.
He/She needs to develop an understanding of market trends including risk, fraud, and regulatory constraints, analyze competitor strengths and weaknesses and publish findings; translate market intelligence into developing highly differentiated and value-based pillars to drive product value.
In terms of product knowledge, he/she should have a good grasp of the lending portfolio fundamentals and product functionality.The role is also responsible for driving usage to meet revenue goals and ensure the product is competitive in the market.
