Who We Are Looking For:


We are looking for a Legal Counsel/Senior Legal Counsel to be based in Singapore to provide high quality legal support to Broadridge's international businesses outside the North America and India, reporting to our Senior Chief Counsel International who is based in London.


Although you will be based in Singapore and you mainly support our business in Asia Pacific, you might be required to support Broadridge's business in Europe.


You'll need to be a solicitor qualified in England and Wales, Scotland, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand or Singapore and are at least 5-year PQE.

You must have spent at least 5 years at a reputable law firm post qualification with experience of working in a general commercial department (preferably with some technology, outsourcing, licensing and contract experience).


You'll join our Broadridge International legal team giving advice, drafting and negotiating predominantly technology contracts, particularly software licence and maintenance contracts, ASP/SAAS contracts and BPO contracts (for sales (mainly) and procurement); both on Broadridge's standard contract template and the clients' contract templates.

There are also commercial contracts - e.g.

reseller and agency contracts, marketing services contracts, alliance/partnership contracts, procurement type contracts, third-party vendor contracts, MOUs and non-disclosure contracts which will need your expertise.

Other aspects of this role will include.

  • Advising on data protection laws.
  • The research and analysis of legal issues and provision of opinions to business.
  • Reviewing and responding to RFPs/RFIs

  • Flexibility to work during out of office hours for contract negotiations with clients based in different time zones and liaison with the London office.
