  • Responsible for accurate valuations of trading book position, exposure and performance data
  • Own the delivery of daily and monthly control processes
  • Support the validation of management information provided to Financial Accounts
  • Identify and mitigate financial, operational & reputation risks related to trading book positions and exposures
  • Single point of contact on working capital related issues
  • Forecast, allocate and optimize working capital
  • Support entering/exiting new instruments/markets & growth/contraction of existing business
  • Evaluate and conduct a risk assessment of new investment and business initiatives
  • Provide independent opinion on risk and reward of new activities
  • Lead initiatives, influence decisions and collaborate across teams
  • Develop understanding of Global Gas and Power supply and trading business
  • Provide constructive challenge to trading activity for compliance
  • Run risk models and production of market risk analytics
  • Drive continuous improvements through digitalization and automation projects

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree (any discipline)
Experience in Market Risk management and/or Power markets in the trading industry - Strong analytical skills - Ability to communicate trading transactions into economic effects - Desire to develop leadership capability - Supporting team development across Commodity Risk - Experience in New Activity Integration and Project Management
