M&E Engineer / Manager

Core Responsibilities

  • Will work closely with Construction Manager or Director (Ops) in similar areas of work.
  • Assist in achieving business objectives and goals.
  • Conduct testing and commission M&E work.
  • Manage subcontractors and oversee production planning and build progress.
  • Daily management of OPS department.
  • Ensure timely project completion through execution and monitoring.
  • Liaise with Consultant Representative on project matters.
  • Coordinate with Project Manager and Subcontractors on site and quality issues.
  • Comply with all contractual requirements and procedures.
  • Monitor variations and contract claims, providing feedback to the Project Manager.
  • Implement cost control measures to align with project budget.
  • Collaborate with QAQC Engineer to uphold quality standards for customer satisfaction.
  • Review and resolve discrepancies in working drawings.
  • Ensure work quality meets specifications and requirements.
  • Maintain inspection records for materials and completed works.
  • Address environmental aspects, impacts, and EMS-related issues.
  • Ensure site operations adhere to the Project Quality Plan and safety standards.
  • Take proactive measures for quality, environmental, and occupational health & safety.
  • Review project specifications, technical clarifications, and construction drawings.
  • Coordinate with architects, structural engineers, M&E consultants, and vendors to resolve installation issues.
