Singapore METROPOLITAN YOUNG MEN'S CHRISTIAN ASSOCIATION OF SINGAPORE Full time

As an Instructor, you will lead a team of Volunteers / Facilitators to conduct M.Y Strong Reader sessions to preschoolers between - 6 years of age.


Responsibilities:

  • Manage Class Aides and conduct weekly briefings about sessions
  • Prepare session materials and ensure smooth running of sessions
  • Create a fun learning environment for Class Aides and children
  • Lead and supervise Class Aides to run Learning Journeys and weekly sessions
  • Lead programme activities including but not limited to parentchild bonding day,as required or called upon
  • Liaison with onsite teachers and principals as needed

Requirements:

  • Must have prior experience in working with preschoolers and/or classroom management
  • Must be open to traveling to different locations around Singapore
  • Diploma/Degree in any discipline, Early Childhood preferred
  • Passionate about reading and working with preschoolers
  • Resourceful and good problemsolving skills
  • Strong collaborative and communication skills with stakeholders
  • Confident in team leading a diverse group of people from all walks of life
