We are looking for a Principal Value Chain Analyst to join our Market Analysis & Economics team in Singapore.
You will play a key role in providing technical expertise in the analysis of inbound and outbound commercial value chains.
Accountabilities- Develops and communicates insights that guide data driven commercial action and decisionmaking.
- Leverages expertise on logistics, commodity production and enduse to drive strategic insights at short, medium
- Utilizes qualitative and quantitative research methodologies.
- Evaluates, models and visualizes data to draw out insights and solutions that address hypotheses and business challenges.
- Manages team wide databases, dashboards and other infrastructure, including PowerBI.
- Applies an understanding of endtoend Supply Chain to enhance efficiency, drive optimization, and maximize value.
- Applies intelligence on industry trends and market dynamics to drive enhanced decisionmaking and planning.
- Mitigates people, environmental and community risks across the value chain, in alignment with sustainability and public policy.
- Strives to achieve 100% safety, 100% customer value and 0% waste.

About You:
- Experience in assessing inbound and outbound value chains and in sharing findings to a sophisticated audience of both technical experts and experienced generalists.
- An advanced degree in a quantitative discipline, with a PhD preferred
- Understanding of mining and logistics value chains
- Detailed knowledge of major customer markets, vendor ecosystems, nonproduction infrastructure challenges, energy and power markets, maritime and land freight
