Singapore PSB ACADEMY PTE. LTD. Full time

Teaching & Preparation

  • Prepare and conduct lectures, tutorials/workshops and laboratory sessions to certificate, diploma and undergraduate students (including overseas, if required).
  • Contribute to the development of intellectual property for the School.

Exam QA & Moderation

  • Administer the setting and marking of coursework and examination.
  • Review and ensure the quality of examination papers under area(s) of specialisation.
  • Conduct objective assessments on examination appeal cases in the area of sports science.

Lecturer Management

  • Assist in the management and development of life science academics.
  • Review assignment of proposed life science teaching assignments.
  • Conduct classroom observation as required

Student Management

  • Engage in student development by providing strong learning support and monitoring of students' academic performance in life science.
  • Advise students with respect to academic performance, career opportunities and the pursuit of advanced studies in the area of life science.

Curriculum Management & Development

  • Contribute to the review, design and development of life science programmes and modules to ensure continued relevance and quality improvement of curricula.
  • Programme/ Module leader for life science courses.
  • Develop course materials for new modules as required.
  • Prepare course/ module review reports of internal and external life science programmes.
  • New programme development preliminary module mapping tasks.

External Partners Liaison

  • Assist in liaising with university course coordinators on academic matters related to life science courses where necessary.
  • Attend visits by programme partners and academics in life science.

Learning & Development

  • Contribute to departmental, faculty, or institutionwide working groups or committees as requested.
  • Maintain own continuing professional development, in addition to training and development provided by the institution.

Others
Any other ad-hoc duties as required by the company from time to time.

Job Requirements

  • Master in Life Sciences or equivalent. At least a pass at GCE 'O' Level or its equivalent in the language medium of the programme/module.
  • 12 years of working experience
  • Strong interpersonal skills and time management skills
  • Strong oral and writing skills Willing to work shift hours (e.g. late evenings and weekends when needed)
