Product Control are an independent T+1 control function ensuring the business is compliant with rules, regulation and standards related to Profit & Loss recognition, risk reporting, balance sheet management, capital framework and external reporting.


Job responsibilities

  • Daily T+1 Trader Profit & Loss and Risk reporting, production, analysis, substantiation and sign off at a trader/desk level and associated market risk reporting
  • Monthend close process, working with Financial Control, Valuation Control Group and Legal Entity Controllers
  • Provide detailed analysis and reporting on the financials to desk heads, business managers, and senior finance management
  • Partner with the business to initiate and implement robust controls and new business initiatives

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or a related discipline
  • Open to fresh graduates
  • Knowledge of Profit & Loss and month end close process within Product Control, Financial Control, Accounting, or related area would be advantageous
  • Solid understanding of financial products would be advantageous
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail including a strong control focus
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to develop strong working relationships
