Office Cleaner

Castlery is looking for an
Office Cleaner to join our People and Culture team.

The Office Cleaner is responsible for maintaining a clean and tidy office environment by carrying out routine cleaning tasks.

They must ensure that the office is kept free from dust, dirt, and other debris to promote a safe and healthy working environment for staff and visitors.

What you'll be doing

• Carry out routine cleaning tasks such as dusting, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and disinfecting surfaces
• Clean and sanitize meeting rooms, washroom, pantry area, and other common areas
• Cleaning windows, window blinds, glass surfaces, and mirrors
• Keeping all public spaces neat and tidy
• Replenish supplies such as paper towels, toilet paper, hand soap, dish detergent and other cleaning materials
• Replenish pantry food and beverages as and when required
• Dispose waste and recyclables in designated bins
• Report any maintenance or repair issues to the designated personnel
• Maintain all cleaning equipment and supplies in a clean and orderly manner
• Ensure that all cleaning chemicals are stored safely and handled in accordance to safe usage instructions

What you'll need

• General knowledge of cleaning products & supplies, proper storage, disposal methods, and techniques for cleaning
• Previous experience in office cleaning preferred
• An organized person who pays attention to detail when cleaning
• Reliable and punctual with dedicated professionalism to job and duties
• Physically able to reach, stretch, bend, and walk during the daily routine, with ability to stand for long lengths of time
• Good communication skills and a positive attitude
• Ability to follow verbal instructions, cleaning schedules and procedures
• Ability to adapt to changing schedules or routines and excellent time management skills
