Job Purpose

To ensure the safety and security of guests, associates and the hotel properties and assets through efficient and effective execution of hotel security duties and procedures.


Principle Accountabilities

  • To maintain surveillance of areas that are frequented by guests and all work areas.
  • To maintain vigil surveillance on the CCTV and the Fire Alarm System (FAS), inform security officer on patrol or static duties of any unusual events immediately.
  • Responsible for the security and protection of Hotel properties, guests and associates.
  • To execute security procedures according to Security Operating Procedures.
  • To carry out all other tasks assigned by Security Duty Manager/ Assistant Security Manager/ Director of Security.

Job Requirements

  • Hold valid security license
  • Preferred: 12 years of security and safety experience and / or military / law enforcement experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • WSQ Security Certifications
  • 2 rotating shifts, night shift required
  • Working knowledge of local laws, investigation methods, OSHA requirements and fire safety and life safety codes.
