What the role entails:

  • Client Relationship Management: lead and support the management of key client account relationships, including client strategy and execution. The aim is to enhance trade credit retention, growth, and value impact across the Asia client portfolio.
  • Growth: oversee and develop the Asia Trade Credit pipeline in collaboration with the Credit Solutions leadership.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: interact with various stakeholders across client, insurer, and Aon organizations, including credit management, finance, and c-suite. Conduct detailed negotiations on Commercial, Risk, and Claims matters.
  • Broking: engage strategically with the insurance market to secure optimal client solutions throughout the trade credit insurance lifecycle.
  • Unified Approach: understand and communicate the Aon story to demonstrate how we enable clients to make informed decisions in the realm of credit and broader risk capital and human capital solutions.
  • Team Collaboration: work closely with country, regional, and global colleagues to deliver the best of Aon to clients, engaging in client planning and strategy.
  • Digital & Systems Expertise: utilize Aon platforms, including pipeline management, broking, and talent systems.
  • Compliance: ensure adherence to Aon processes and business conduct standards.
  • Professional Development: align objectives with the Delivering Aon United models established with your manager.

What sets this role apart:

  • As a Director in the Asia regional team, you will play a pivotal role within the Credit Solutions global specialty, encompassing Trade Credit, Structured Credit, Political Risk, and Surety solution lines.
  • The key focus is to offer strategic client leadership, fostering growth in Trade Credit business across Asia, in close alignment with colleagues at the Country, Regional, and Global levels.

  • Industry Expertise: Proficiency in client retention/growth strategies, trade credit insurance, and industry knowledge and connectivity.

  • Languages: Proficient in English (oral/written). Knowledge of Mandarin and/or other languages is advantageous.
  • Technology: Proficiency in various systems, including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
