Strategy Consultant to join the Caterpillar team.

About the Position

The primary responsibilities for this position will be to (but not limited to)

  • Accountability for consolidation and tracking of SGP action plan deliverables
  • Provides coaching and guidance on inclusion and removal of SGP action plan items
  • Deliver monthly action plan status and dependency reporting
  • Works with dealers and Caterpillar partners to resolve delays in action plan deliverables and close gaps
  • Participates in service growth plan development and calibrations directly supporting the gathering and validation of voice of customer and dealer
  • Support Leadership Table dependency tracking, communication, updates, and resolution
  • Ensures Leadership Table dependencies are specific, measurable, actionable, realistic and time bound
  • Completes global valuation of APoriginated Leadership Table dependencies for improved prioritization and impact analysis
  • Services and regional OIA integrator ensuring the quality of business cases, metrics, and targets within the official reporting tools
  • Leads gotomarket segmentation projects and action item resolution for nonSGP dealers
  • Serves as 4DX coach and system administrator
  • Lead other crossdivisional/enterprisewide strategic projects as needed
Employee may also be responsible for performing other job duties occasionally as assigned.

Required Skill and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree preferably in Marketing, Engineering, Business Administration, Finance, Communication or equivalent experience
  • 57 years of jobrelated experience including experience in the aftermarket, past dealerfacing roles, project management/black belt experience, industry specific knowledge, etc.
  • Should have broad business background, specific longterm industry knowledge and excellent communication skills both written and verbal, including the ability to interact across all levels of the organization
  • Skilled at leveraging research and data to make business recommendations, deliver insights to senior leaders and building consensus
  • Requires strong skills working with people from different backgrounds and the ability to influence and resolve differences and issues
  • Strong analysis skills
  • Ability to adapt quickly to high velocity and change
  • Ability to simplify complex information and develop clear communications and presentation materials to a variety of audiences
  • Capable at being futuristic and activating the organization to execute
