What you will be doing

  • Contribute as a Senior AI Full Stack Engineer within the Global IT business technology team, engaging in large, complex tasks where you will leverage your creativity and expertise to deliver high-quality technical solutions.
  • Design, develop, and test sophisticated AI-driven systems to address business challenges.
  • Possess a wide array of knowledge on AI and Machine Learning techniques, proficient in all system aspects including model architecture, pipeline automation, and metrics interpretation.
  • Validate machine learning scenarios through proof-of-concepts utilizing Large Language Models alongside the SAP AI Business Technology Platform.
  • Utilize SAP Business Technology Platform to construct backend services using Python-flask or Fast API among similar tools.
  • Lead fellow developers in implementing top coding practices and diminishing technical debts within the team.
  • Collaborate with the Product Owner on major projects to ensure successful results.
  • Keep abreast of the latest AI and tech trends in alignment with SAP's strategic direction.
  • Apply methodologies like Agile to Software Development Life Cycle, actively engaging in activities from design to production release.

Your qualifications

  • Hold a Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD in computer science or a related field.
  • Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience in Software Engineering, specializing in AI and Cloud Platforms, with a proven track record as an AI Developer or in a similar capacity.
  • Experience incorporating AI, machine learning, or data science into Business Software Applications such as SAP.
  • Advanced proficiency in multiple front-end languages and libraries (e.g. SAPUI5, React, HTML/CSS, JavaScript, XML, jQuery).
  • Familiarity with various ML techniques and frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn).
  • Proficient in programming languages like Python, Java, or JavaScript.
  • Understanding of different types of databases (RDBMS, Key-Value, Documents), with a plus if experienced with SAP HANA.
  • Knowledgeable in LLM utilization for application development.
  • Advanced comprehension of REST APIs and their development.
  • Strong aptitude in designing scalable, high-performing, and resilient AI-driven systems.
  • Experience implementing software engineering best practices including version control (e.g. git), CI/CD (e.g. Jenkins), testing, security, and documentation.
