Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and Implementation: Handling the design and deployment of server infrastructure, both physical and virtual servers. Configuring and managing network equipment like routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers. Setting up storage solutions such as SAN or NAS systems. Managing cloud infrastructure like IaaS and PaaS solutions.
  • System Administration: Responsible for managing user accounts, permissions, and access controls across different IT systems. Installing, configuring, and maintaining operating systems (e.g., Windows Server, Linux) and software applications. Monitoring system performance, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring optimal performance and availability.
  • Network Management: Configuring and maintaining vital network services like DHCP, DNS, and VPN. Monitoring network traffic, resolving network issues, and optimizing performance. Implementing security measures to safeguard against unauthorized access, malware, and other threats.
  • Backup and Disaster Recovery: Developing and executing backup and disaster recovery plans to maintain data integrity and ensure business continuity. Regularly testing backup and recovery procedures for effectiveness in case of system failures.
  • Security Management: Implementing security policies, procedures, and controls to protect IT infrastructure from cyber threats. Conducting security assessments, investigating breaches, and taking remedial actions as required.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Creating and managing documentation for IT infrastructure configurations and troubleshooting guides. Providing reports on system performance, capacity utilization, and security incidents for management and stakeholders.
  • Collaboration: Coordinating with service providers and experts to assess technical needs and develop solution designs. Acting as a bridge between project teams and IT experts to ensure technical solutions align with project objectives.

Requirements:

  • Education:
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
  • 2-4 years of experience in IT infrastructure engineering or a related field.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with internal teams, external vendors, and service providers.

Experience:

  • Hands-on experience in implementing and supporting IT infrastructure solutions in a corporate setting.
  • Proven ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues and implement effective solutions.
  • Experience with project management methodologies and tools.

Soft Skills:

  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
  • Attention to detail and a dedication to delivering high-quality results.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to meet evolving technology and business demands.
