RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Stakeholder Management
  • Develop and manage relations with partner universities through regular communications.
  • Facilitate annual placement projection and negotiation exercise with partner universities.
  • Willing to travel when required to maintain and build relationships with partner universities.
  • Programmes and Events Management
  • Plan and execute events such as SMU's Study Abroad Fair and other student outreach and programme publicity initiatives, as well as orientation and farewell activities for inbound/outbound students.
  • Provide necessary support and guidance to the students (outbound SMU students and inbound international students) throughout the programme which includes managing the team's rolebased mailbox and answering programmerelated enquiries.
  • Conduct surveys, analyse findings and prepare reports on students' study abroad or study at SMU experiences, and learning outcomes.
  • Design and manage automated data processes to improve work efficiency.
  • Be part of the team who facilitate daily operations of the exchange programmes such as onboarding processes, outreach activities, billings & logistics.
  • Work closely with SMU Office of Safety and Security (OSS) to ensure full compliance with study abroad safety protocols.
  • Special projects
  • Work together with the team to improve and enhance effectiveness and efficiency of operational/work processes,
  • Lead and manage various programme related projects, to assemble teams to deliver on these projects.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Postgraduate qualifications or Bachelor's degree in any discipline.
  • Familiarity with operations in the global education sector.
  • At least 6 to 8 years of experience in developing and running global student programmes at the university level and/or managing crosscultural student events.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, confident and effective in crosscultural settings.
  • Driven self
- starter with strong analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving skills.

  • An exemplary team player who is resourceful, resilient and thrives in a fastpaced, resultsoriented, and ambiguous work environment.
  • Meticulous, has an eye for detail and appreciates the value and need for thorough planning and good documentation.
  • Able to manage multiple and competing tasks within deadlines with a high degree of accuracy.
  • IT and social mediasavvy.
  • Track records in managing digitalisation/automation project(s) within the administrative scope of work.
